Global Vision Technologies employs a multi-layered security architecture designed to keep data safe and secure. Our firewall prevents unauthorized access and is monitored 24 hours a day.

The servers at Global Vision Technologies are physically isolated in a locked, highly secured facilities. We employee data mirroring of our servers at physically separate locations in the United States. As data is writing to one server, it is replicated in real time to our other back up servers - ensuring continuous availability and safety of your data.

No one, except for the Global Vision Technologies network administrators of the server and administrators of the hosting facility, can physically access the server. The web connection to the data is via a custom written cgi (common gateway interface) program that is the "link" between the data (stored in a standard SQL database) and the web. At no time is the data directly available to the web itself. The only way to get to the data via the web is through the cgi, which requires a user ID and password setup by Global Vision Technologies as described above. Further, no data access commands via the web overwrite key data, they only add to the data, preserving all past revisions. This allows Global Vision Technologies to construct the dataset at any point in time. Servers are mirrored for constant back-up availability.
